Today is our day of electives. Fans of trekking can choose to have a wander down the legendary Centennial Ridges Trail. This 10.4km exploration into Algonquin's deep wilderness takes approximately 5 hours to complete, but it's well worth the journey, as this trail is known for wild animal spottings, and has the best view in the park. *Having a good level of fitness is strongly recommended.
As an alternative, campers may choose to independently rent bicycles (cruisers, mountain bikes, fat tires) (*not included in cost) and ride out on the Old Railway Bike Trail. This path follows a section of discarded railway line, now shrouded in trees. 16km long from end to end, it's rated Easy, and is suitable for young children.

*It is recommended that those with mobility issues do a shorter version of this hike
